My son and I are leaving our small town in southeastern United States to live for a year in a small town in southeastern France. It couldn't possibly be THAT different, right?

BNP and Jed

On Wednesday, Jed closed his off-shore bank account and walked away with twenty euros.  This might not sound like much, but considering that he did not contribute one centime to the account, it's not bad.  BNP opened a savings account for him with fifteen euros in it, and the account earned five more in the eight months that he has had it.  He was thrilled!  We promptly went to Centrakor where he spent all of his money on five pairs of Free Gun underwear.

Jed wanted to pose with his card before having to cut it up.

In other Wednesday news, we now have a new door.  No, Jed did not break the old one!  This one is more secure, apparently.  We have fancy, expensive badges that we pass in front of the door to open it. It does not slam really loudly or buzz even more loudly when someone comes in either.  Classy!
